Welcome to clyr

These terms govern your use of clyr. By using clyr, you agree to these terms.

What clyr is

clyr is a platform for voice, text, and communities. We provide the infrastructure so you can connect with others. We don't own your content, your zones, or your conversations.

Your account

• You are responsible for your account and keeping your password secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use clyr.
• You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete all your data (see our Privacy Policy).
• One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions.

Zones

Zones are communities on clyr. When you create a zone, you own it. You can set rules, moderate members, and manage your zone as you see fit.

We don't interfere with zone management unless there's a violation of these terms or illegal activity.

What you can't do

Don't:

• Use clyr for illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Share content that violates others' rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
• Spam, scam, or phish
• Impersonate others
• Try to break or hack our systems
• Use bots or automated tools to abuse the platform

Content and messages

You own your messages and content. You give us permission to deliver them through our infrastructure, but we don't store or log them (see our Privacy Policy).

Since we don't store messages, we can't retrieve deleted messages or restore conversations.

Zone owners and moderators can moderate content in their zones according to their own rules.

Our service

We provide clyr "as is." We don't guarantee:

• That the service will always be available (we'll try, but things break)
• That messages will always be delivered instantly
• That voice calls will never drop
• That we'll never have bugs

We'll do our best, but technology isn't perfect.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for:

• Lost messages (we don't store them anyway)
• Service interruptions
• Content others post
• Decisions zone owners make

Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll try to give you notice first, but we reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.

You can leave anytime by deleting your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you. Continued use of clyr after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

We’re based in Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
