we can’t peek.

Every message has its own key, wrapped for the devices in the conversation. Clyr stores the delivery package—not the readable conversation.

  • End-to-end by defaultChannels, DMs, and groups use the same encrypted message path.
  • Keys you can verifyCompare device fingerprints out of band. Known device IDs cannot silently replace their keys.
  • New-device approvalA new login waits for a signature from an already trusted device before receiving future message keys.
  • Reporting is deliberateYou see the exact snippet before it is disclosed, and included authors are notified.
